Marcel Wanters dà vita a questi due romantici personaggi in un carillon poetico. Il piedistallo su cui danza l'elefantina contiene un meccanismo che riproduce la melodia della Marcia dei Gladiatori di Julius Fu ík, che apre gli spettacoli circensi in tutto il mondo.
