I pezzi sono stati creati utilizzando il metodo Lost Foam (schiuma persa) sviluppato dallo Studio Furthermore nel 2016. Questi oggetti unici sono stati realizzati a mano in un materiale di schiuma che, una volta posizionato nella fornace, si vaporizza a oltre 1200° C, risultando in oggetti in schiuma ceramica, unici nel loro genere. Home to artists Marina Dragomirova & Iain Howlett, Studio Furthermore seek out new kinds of material and cultural realities informed by processes occurring in nature. The studio creates design objects in glass, ceramic, metal and other materials bringing together aspects of craft with future narratives. Our design thinking begins long before an object, we are interested in designing the making process and even the material itself.
