Product Description: How soft the stone can be? The idea was to create a vase with a strong aesthetic impact, researching the use of marble in the ancient Roman churches as well as the virtuosity of the tex- tiles and in the anatomical shapes of the classical sculptures. Far from the usual contemporary approach of perfection and geometrical cleaning, the “Avalon” vases present curve and complex shapes, with a for- mal ambiguity that need the ability of a sculptor to get as a result vases where the veining and chromatic variations, typical of the stones applied, moves and spreads out. The name of the vase is Clelia and this is a special version in total white onyx.
