Mimina Ghersi, born in Genoa in 1889 and died in Santa Margherita Ligure in 1972, was a Ligurian painter specializing in landscape art. Her artistic career developed primarily in the early twentieth century, with active participation in the major exhibitions of the era. Ghersi participated in numerous exhibitions of the Società Promotrice di Belle Arti of Genoa from 1916 to 1924, consolidating her reputation as a prominent landscape artist in the Ligurian cultural scene. In particular, at the 1920 edition she exhibited four works including the painting 'Faggi e pini', now preserved at the Gallery of Modern Art in Genoa, testimony to the quality and importance of her work. Her artistic production includes oils on canvas and on faesite, as well as pencil drawings on cardboard, often depicting naturalistic views and landscapes of Liguria, such as those of the Vigezzo Valley. Her works have been subject to evaluation and commercialization at important auction houses, particularly at Cambi Casa d'Aste, where numerous works by her have been catalogued.
