In 2021 Cambi opened the new department dedicated to ancient coins, under the guidance of Paolo Giovanni Crippa.
The numismatic market is one of the oldest in the history of Italian collecting, and one of the first great collectors documented was Francesco Petrarca.
Today you can find on sale a large amount of collector coins, from the oldest to the newest, with large discards in the listing.
In Italy the numismatic market has remained stable over time and flourishing: collectors are mainly looking for medieval and modern Italian mints, those of the pre-unification states and those of the Kingdom of Italy.
The department of Numismatics will propose, initially in two annual events, coins collected from private collections that will certainly attract the attention of the national and international market.
