Rare yellow jade vase with cover, double pumpkin shaped, with handles in the shape of stylized dragon, China, Qing Dynasty, Qianlong (1736-1795) mark and Period partially erased mark, h cm 17,5 A similar vase is present in the Museum Palace collection in Beijing with a carved stylized Taotie mask with the same kind of jade but of a different shape. The following lot seems to be the only imperial exemplar made of this kind of jade and in this shape. Esiste nella collezione del Palazzo Museo di Pechino un vaso simile con incisa la maschera Taotie stilizzata con la stessa tipologia di giada ma di differente forma. Il seguente lotto pare essere l’unico esemplare imperiale con questa tipologia di giada e di forma.
