Allievo di Pompeo Mariani frequentò l'Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera. Le sue opere furono esposte in varie esposizioni internazionali. Celebre per i ritratti muliebri, morto a solo 50 anni, i suoi resti riposano nella cripta del Famedio al cimitero monumentale di Milano. Altezza cm 60.
