NOTE: The Universal Genève Compax Nina Rindt got its nickname from being worn by F1 champion Jochen Rindt's wife at the Formula 1 races that she attended. This black and white Compax became a favorite among vintage collectors. The applied U logo shows that what we have here is an earlier Nina Rindt, while the latere examples would exhibit a painted logo.This Compax has a “panda” dial (meaning it has white base with black registers) that is reminiscent of the panda version of the Rolex “Paul Newman” Daytona. In addition, it features twisted lugs, round pushers, a black aluminum bezel with a “dot over 90” in the tachymeter (a similar “dot over 90” configuration is found on vintage OMEGA Speedmaster bezels), and the legendary Valjoux 72 movement
