Patek Philippe & Co, Geneve.
Movement No. 863882, case No. 646768, Ref 130. Very fine and rare, 18K yellow gold wristwatch with square button chronograph, register, tachometer and an 18K yellow gold Patek Philippe buckle. Accompanied by the Extract Made in 1946.
NOTE: Production of this reference started in 1934. It was made in stainless steel, yellow gold and pink gold; only three examples are known in white gold. It is one of the most desirable and sought-after sport watches ever created by the Patek Philippe firm. The reference 130 perfectly captures the spirit of the golden age of watchmaking: the dial is very legible and clean, but still with scales and graduations, as opposed to the minimalist trends of the 1960s and 1970s. The case is in typical Calatrava style, similar to pieces like the immortal reference 96.
