NOTE: The reference 1655 originally launched in 1971 and was specifically designed for cave explorers. This model features a fixed bezel with 24-hour display and a 24-hour hand that can be set to distinguish day from night hours. This model has a couple nicknames amongst collectors - Freccione referring to the orange AM/PM indicator hand and Steve McQueen because of an advertisement.
