La statua fu esposta a Washington alla National Gallery. Fu venduta dallo scultore Italo Griselli al suo intimo amico Ernesto Ugo Gramazio e da questi ritirata, alla fine del conflitto, presso la Galleria d’arte moderna di Roma, per le mani della direttrice e sovrintendente Prof. Palma Bucarelli.
