Simple shapes, in warm colors and earthen material (raku, terracotta and glazed stone- ware), are placed one on top of the other. The playful, exaggerated stacking of basic elements to create towering structures is more than just an exploration of ceramics. TOTEM is veneration of tactility, materiality and form teetering on a game of risk.
