There is a strong relationship between the industrialisation and massive dis- tribution of the domestic object, the progressive dehumanisation and loss of character to which they are being sub- jected. In them, we admire values that have nothing to do with the percep- tion and use of the object in question, such as logistical capacity, efficiency in their production processes, or the high turnover with which they provide their distributors.
In 2019 Tellurico was invited by Galeria 6mas1 to design and produce a func- tional object which denied mass pro- duction rules. La Mesa is the result of this commission.
