On Tuesday, May 16, with "Design Properties" Cambi Casa d'Aste presents a new appointment dedicated to signature design. After the success of "Design 200" in March 2023, which brought the maison a turnover of more than € 970,000, the department directed by Piermaria Scagliola brings to the spaces of the Milan headquarters a new and exclusive selection of 255 lots produced from the 1920s to our contemporary days.

Thus Piermaria Scagliola, director of the department: "The Design Properties auction is an exclusive appointment whose main characteristic is the selection, coming from two important entrustments, so collections linked to single properties. The project, which by its very nature sees a heterogeneous assortment combining art furniture and objects of decorative taste, was born precisely with the opportunity to pander to this type of large entrustments that better lend themselves to a dedicated appointment." And again, "In a dynamic market, we are confident that Design Properties will meet the taste of the maison's clients and thus be able to repeat itself with further collections in the future."

Among the most interesting lots are objects with original shapes and taste, such as the modular screen produced by Ghianda in 1974 with its 32 tubular elements (estimate: €3,000 - €5,000) and Paolo De Poli Smalti De Poli's colorful Peacock from the 1950s in copper and enameled silver (estimate: €5,000 - €7,000).

It is in the variety of light fixtures that the selection is enriched by designer pieces with unique character such as the floor lamp model Siluro by Angelo Lelii produced for Arredoluce in 1957 (estimate: €6,000 - €8,000) and the table lamp model Kalamo by Valenti designed in the same year by Gianni Villa (estimate: €2,000 - €3,000).

Top lots include the two armchairs by Paolo Buffa with woven wood frame (estimate: €8,000 - €12,000) and the two armchairs by Ignazio Gardella model Digamma with metal frame and enameled steel (estimate: €12,000 - €16,000).
