In this fall auction, we were able, given the large supply, to offer an interesting selection of jewelry.

The choice is determined by provenance, history and quality, based on the consistency and refinement of the workmanship of the objects and the goodness of the gems, which we always present certified, where possible: among these is lot 193, a splendid sapphire of ct 5,212 (estimate 20,000 - 30,000).

We point out lot 190, a diamond necklace centered by three large Colombian emeralds (estimate 60,000 - 80,000) ; lot 233, a charming ring with a ct 5.60 emerald and navette-cut diamonds (estimate 40,000 - 45,000); as well as lot 167, a teardrop emerald of ct 6.49 (estimate 20,000 - 30,000).

Boucheron, Cartier, Buccellati, are featured in the catalog with objects of great charm and extraordinary workmanship: respectively, with a fine diamond brooch (lot 191 estimate 13,000 - 18,000); a bracelet from the "Penelope" collection (lot 94 estimate 9,000 - 11,000); and an iconic brooch with a floral subject (lot 109 estimate 5,000 - 7,000).

The auction opens, then, with the proposal of jewelry and bijoux that belonged to journalist and fashion critic Giusy Ferrè: objects that can tell the story of her flair and taste in combining signatures - such as Bulgari (lot 12 estimate 400 - 600) and Pomellato (lot 10 estimate 1. 000 - 1,500) - to designer creations, including Gai Mattiolo (lot 1 estimate 3,000 - 4,000), to fancy bijoux (lot 37 estimate 200 - 300) in an interesting combination, never trivial: how much we will miss her!
