Created in 1962 with the aim of flanking the Rolex 5512, the Submariner Rolex 5513 model has undergone numerous redesigns over the years. On its first release it featured pointed shoulders, a butterfly rotor and a 1530 caliber. The following year, however, it underwent some modifications and the rotor changed to a crescent shape, while the caliber changed from 1530 to 1520.
