In the upcoming “Fine Jewels” auction, Cambi Auction House offers an interesting catalog of jewelry, selected on the basis of provenance, history and quality of the objects and gems, presented, where possible, certified.
The first round (lots 1-115) presents a collection of corals from different periods and provenances; the second (lots 116-406), brings together jewelry signed Cartier, Buccellati, Van Cleef&Arpels, Bulgari.
These include a fine clip with aquamarines and diamonds (lot 279, estimate €15,000-20,000) and a douette brooch with diamonds for ct 16/17.00 (lot 323, estimate €14,000-18,000), both signed Cartier London.
These are joined by lot 281, a fine diamond brooch stamped Ravasco (estimate €15,000-20,000) and an interesting ring with Burma sapphire of ct 4.50 and diamonds (lot 293, estimate €14,000-18,000).
A selection of natural diamonds, suitable for all needs, enriches the auction catalog. These include lot 241, a D color type IIa shuttle cut diamond (estimate €30,000-38,000); lot 242, a large 12.57-carat, circular cut diamond (estimate €60,000-80,000); and lot 243 a 6.64-carat, square cut diamond with truncated corners (estimate €30,000-38,000).
