On the same day as the Old Masters auction, the Old Drawings catalog will also go to auction: 132 lots with the likes of Francesco Salviati, Guercino, Domenico Beccafumi, Federico Zuccari, Canaletto and Guardi.

Among them is the watercolor on parchment Vanitas with books by Jean François de La Motte (estimate: €8,000 - €12,000). In his trompe-l'œil Jean-François De Le Motte depicts with precision and realism many types of subjects and objects such as papers, sheets, letters, tickets, books, drawings paintings and engravings. More often than not, this is to evoke the shelves of a painter's workshop with palette and handrest, brushes and agglutinators, containers for mixing colors, glasses and canvases, scissors and frames. Cross-references from one canvas to another are frequent and characteristic of the genre as are the quotations and references to other painters.

Finally, we point out a rare tarot card from the Atelier of Bonifacio Bembo, depicting La Giustizia (estimate: €10,000 - €15,000), made with on tempera parchment and gold worked with punch (estimate: €10,000 - €15,000) and splendid drawings of Anatomical Studies in pen and brown ink on paper by Domenico di Jacopo di Pace known as Beccafumi (Monteaperti, 1486 - Siena, 1551) (estimate: €12,000 - €18,000).
