At 4:30 PM on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, the auction session dedicated to painting will commence, featuring a diverse selection of works ranging from Romantic and Impressionist landscapes to the Symbolist and Post-Impressionist explorations of the early 20th century.

Among the most significant lots is Lot 149, A Street in Florence by Giovanni Fattori, an oil on canvas signed lower right, originating from the Edmondo Sacerdoti Gallery in Milan and previously exhibited at the Galleria d’Arte Permanente in Genoa in 1957. The work is estimated at €40,000 – 60,000.

Following is Lot 148, The Railway of Torre Annunziata by Giuseppe De Nittis, an oil on canvas signed lower left, which captures the urban landscape of the new industrial Italy with modern sensibility. It is estimated at €35,000 – 45,000. Lot 49, The Earthly Paradise by Federico Zandomeneghi, is a significant piece for both its exhibition history and painterly quality, having been featured in major retrospectives dedicated to the artist between 2004 and 2006; it is estimated at €35,000 – 40,000.

Lot 25, Still Life by Johann Wilhelm Preyer, dated 1854 and signed lower right, is a canvas of refined composition, offered with an estimate of €25,000 – 35,000. Lot 50, Profile of a Woman by Giovanni Boldini, oil on panel, embodies the elegant taste of Boldini’s portraiture, with an estimate of €20,000 – 30,000.

Concluding the selection are Lot 123, Woman with Jug by Giuseppe Cominetti, an oil on canvas characterized by intense pictorial essentiality, estimated at €12,000 – 18,000, and Lot 175, Study of Figures by Armando Spadini, a large canvas executed in 1923 that reflects the full artistic maturity of the painter, offered with an estimate of €12,000 – 16,000.
