The three rounds of the upcoming Fine Jewels auction, spread over 20-21 November, will offer over five hundred lots from private collections and consignments.
The first will feature a selection of diamonds of different cuts and sizes, including:
- Lot 184, a 5.42 carat cushion-cut diamond, D colour (estimate €90.000 - €120.000);
- Lot 186, a 5.01 carat heart-cut diamond, G colour (estimated value €35,000 - €40.000);
- Lot 188, an emerald-cut diamond of carat 4.06 D colour (estimated value €70.000 - €90.000);
To these are added some coloured gems accompanied, as always, by gemmological certificates, such as lot 191, a 12.75 carat sapphire and diamond ring (estimate €20,000 - €25,000). Among the precious items, we point out lot 136, a refined gold crucifix with polychrome enamels (estimate €18,000 - €22,000), and lot 320, a Cartier signed ring with rubies and diamonds (estimate €9,000 - €10,000).
The protagonist of the second round is a collection of jewels and gems among which several fancy, natural diamonds stand out, such as lot 447, a fancy dark grey diamond, brilliant cut, of ct 5.62 (estimated value €45,000 - €55,000) and lot 443, a fancy yellowish brown diamond, faceted drop cut of ct 14.38 (estimated value €50,000 - €55,000).
The third round gives space to jewels, precious and not, collected by Marina Volpi di Misurata, objects capable of narrating Italian and international goldsmith's art. These include lot 520, a ring, signed Bulgari, with jadeite (type A) and diamonds (estimated value €5,000 - €7,000) and lot 516, a parure, signed René Boivin, composed of a ring, two clips and earrings signed, in gold and citrine quartz (estimated value €6,000 - €8,000).
Over a century of history, travel, anniversaries and occasions that the collection tells.
The lots can be viewed from Friday 15 to Monday 18 November from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., by appointment by writing to gioielli@cambiaste.com.
