The watch presented is a splendid and refined Perpetual Calendar reference 3940J in yellow gold with original box and guarantee. This particular watch has a rare dial that is part of the first part of the second series, very different from the later second series and much rarer. One can in fact notice the very large ‘Sigma’. The main difference from the first series is the modification of the counters, with bevelled edges, while retaining the blind snap-in caseback.
