The second part of the day dedicated to collectible silverware, starting at 5 pm, is devoted to 20th century silverware, a period rich in artistic innovation and stylistic exploration, where the great Italian and European manufacturers produced some of the most fascinating works in silver.

Among the most significant lots, a true masterpiece of silver craftsmanship stands out: a rare silver cutlery service, a unique piece, entirely handmade, representing lunar silver, made in the early 1960s by Finzi Arte di Arrigo e Olga Finzi, as per the original receipt. This service is one of the most sought-after rarities in the catalogue.

Another great protagonist is a rare and fascinating object of Jewish art: a chiselled silver ceremonial perfume dispenser, produced in the Italian Colonies of Tripoli at the beginning of the 20th century. This object, of refined workmanship, represents an important example of applied art and contamination between Mediterranean and Oriental craft traditions.

Also worth mentioning is a chiselled silver box signed by Mario Buccellati for Gabriele D'Annunzio, made in Milan between 1920 and 1930. This elegant object is decorated with motifs reminiscent of Art Deco and Art Nouveau refinement, and is engraved with D'Annunzio's famous motto ‘SUFFICIT ANIMUS’, emphasising the importance of courage and intellect in life. Completing the piece is its original case, a detail that further enhances its collector's value.
