Un gettone molto interessante che avrebbe dato diritto al possessore a mezza pagnotta ("Half Loaf") presso il famoso panificio Hall and Holtz a Shaghai. L'attività venne aperta a metà XIX secolo e divenne un vero e proprio punto di riferimento nella città cinese. Presto il negozio si trasformò in un grande magazzino specializzato in prodotti di importazione occidentale molto amati in Cina. L'edificio rimase in piedi fino al 1936 quando fu demolito e al suo posto vennero erette nuove costruzioni.
