Significativa e affascinante medaglia che si riferisce alla fermezza dimostrata dal pontefice in un difficile periodo storico in cui impazzava la guerra di successione al trono di Spagna. Nonostante le fortissime pressioni infatti Clemente XI manifestò una linea forte e coerente, preservando sempre la neutralità dello Stato della Chiesa.
