Appartenente originariamente ad un numeroso gruppo di busti di cui uno solo era firmato "Vela 1860 fecit" e venne venduto dalla casa d'aste della Rocca di Torino per 40mila euro circa nel 2004 (Asta arredi antichi - pittura - scultura, 19/11/2004, lotto 506)
