Launched in the late 1960s, references 6263 and 6265 replaced the first Oyster Cosmograph model, the 6240. These two references were produced simultaneously and differ only in the type of tachymeter bezel they were fitted with: black acrylic for the 6263 and steel for the 6265.
This exceptional reference 6263 displays all the features sought after in a Cosmograph Daytona. Preserved in beautiful condition, it features a black dial with white sub-dials, known among collectors as the “Reverse Panda.”
