What makes this watch particularly rare and fascinating is the dial signed "Freccero". This double signature tells a story of excellence born in 1868 in Montevideo, Uruguay, when Francisco Freccero and Oscar Spangenberg founded “Spangenberg y Freccero”. Although the initial success came thanks to high-end fine jewelry created internally, the business soon became the benchmark in Montevideo for Swiss watchmaking, earning a privileged relationship with the most prestigious manufactures overseas, starting with Patek Philippe.
