Legenda esterna parzialmente visibile con data 1752 nitida e re-incisa sul punzone del 1751. Al centro, contromarca ufficiale tipo II del Guatemala (decreto governativo tra il 1838 e il 1841 durante la Repubblica del Centro America) raffigurante il sole calante/nascente dietro tre vulcani, impressa in modo circolare, profondo e perfettamente centrato. R/ Stemma crociato racchiudente i leoni e i castelli del Regno di Castiglia e León, sormontato da dettagli della corona.
