La prova, nitida nel IV stato di 6 edito dal Salamanca, è impressa su carta avente in filigrana Fiore nel cerchio con stella databile verso la metà del Cinquecento. L'opera è tratta da un disegno preparatorio di Raffaello per le Logge Vaticane, oggi andato purtroppo disperso.
