An ark for Ukraine

Cambi Auction House, in collaboration with Fondazione Progetto Arca onlus, is pleased to present Un'Arca per l'Ucraina, a charity auction whose proceeds will be entirely in support of emergency operations in Ukraine.

Progetto Arca was founded as an association in 1994 with the aim of doing something concrete to help people in poverty. It was in 1998 that Progetto Arca was recognized as a non-profit organization. 
The mission of Progetto Arca is to give listening, assistance, and help in the integration of the most needy. Producing social integration, listening without prejudice, intervening in the areas of need of the less guarded person are the cornerstones of the non-profit organization.
Over the years the offer of services made available by Progetto Arca has grown a lot, and today it is aimed at homeless people, destitute families, people with dependency problems, refugees and asylum seekers.

In the face of the emergency that is upsetting Ukraine, Progetto Arca and Protezione Civile Comunale di Milano offer assistance 7 days a week to Ukrainian refugees arriving in the city in a first reception hub. 
On the premises of the Hub, Ukrainian citizens can immediately carry out an initial health screening and obtain information on reception thanks to the presence of Ukrainian-speaking mediators. Refugees also have access to a hot meal and new clothes.
In favor of the little ones, a space has been set up where our volunteers entertain them and make them play, waiting for the transfer with their mothers in the structures responsible for the reception.
Progetto Arca is also located at the Ukrainian border to provide first assistance to the fleeing population. 

Cambi has decided to support the effort already started by Project Ark to intervene in aid of the Ukrainian population, victim of a tragedy that attracts the sensitivity of all.
Monday, May 9 at 7:30 pm, at the headquarters of Via San Marco 22 in Milan, will be presented an auction made possible thanks to a series of important donations: stays in prestigious hotels, works by important artists, design pieces, wines, and many other experiences that will compose a special catalog.
