Among all military watches, those destined for the Royal Navy were stamped "0552/920-3305" and were issued between 1945 and 1976.
These watches are powered by sturdy Lemania èbauches from 17 rubies and originally had dials on the radio, which were replaced by tritium dials in the 60s when the Ministry of Defense deemed the first too dangerous.
Ours dates back to this period, as it features the T in a circle indicating that the dial has been replaced with a tritium dial. Some of these dial changes were made rather hastily, ours, however, did not suffer this fate and there are no major defects
