Among the most precious pieces stands out a rare Flemish tapestry from the early 18th century, depicting Narcissus and the nymph— a large-format work that reflects the excellence of Northern European craftsmanship.

Also of great significance is the important Ushak carpet from Anatolia, dating to the second half of the 19th century, distinguished by its palm-section motif set against a red field: a textile conceived for the European market and historically found in many Italian noble residences, particularly in Genoese palaces.

Alongside it is a refined late-19th-century Lory Pambak carpet from the Caucasus, recognizable for its central white medallion flanked by two smaller star-patterned medallions, its essential red field, and its elegant border featuring comb and star motifs.

Of exceptional technical finesse is the silk Ghom carpet, Persia, 20th century, with a light field enriched by a red and blue lobed medallion and signed by the master Herami.

The catalogue also includes an imposing 18th-century Caucasian Blossom carpet, whose compositional structure partly recalls dragon carpets, while dispensing with traditional animal figures in favor of large floral ornaments of Persian influence. Elaborate flowers, shield-shaped palmettes, and broad radial motifs—the so-called ‘sunbursts’—animate the dark green field, while the light floral border enhances its chromatic harmony.

Completing the selection is the singular Fiori + Spazio carpet, created in Italy in the 1980s after an original design by Giacomo Balla, one of the leading figures of Futurism. The master’s sketch, dating to the 1930s, translates into a dynamic and vibrant composition, signed ‘Futur Balla’ along the lower edge.
