The sale features a carefully curated selection of furniture, lighting and design objects from private collections, spanning some of the most significant periods of the twentieth century while also including rare examples of French Art Nouveau.

Opening the catalogue is an important “aux Clématites” salon suite by Louis Majorelle (lot 1), a refined Art Nouveau ensemble produced in France in 1903 and composed of a sofa, table, two armchairs and four chairs. The lot carries an estimate of €6,000 / 8,000.

Among the top lots is the celebrated “Ultrafragola” mirror by Ettore Sottsass (lot 318), the iconic 1970 design produced by Poltronova in the early 2000s, which has become one of the ultimate symbols of Italian Radical Design in recent years. The work is estimated at €6,000 / 8,000.

Also of remarkable visual impact is the large suspension lamp by Lumenform (lot 312), created circa 1970 with a chromed metal structure and height-adjustable Murano glass diffusers, estimated at €5,000 / 7,000.

The catalogue devotes significant attention to the masters of post-war Italian design, beginning with the pair of “Cornaro” armchairs by Carlo Scarpa, produced by Simon Gavina in 1973 (lot 253, estimate €6,000 / 8,000), an emblematic example of the Venetian architect’s creative vision.

Lighting design also plays a major role in the sale, highlighted by a refined suspension lamp by Angelo Lelii for Arredoluce (lot 133), created in 1963 in brass with sandblasted and acid-etched glass diffusers, estimated at €5,000 / 6,000.

Among the most noteworthy groups are lots 115 and 116, each composed of eight wall lamps by Vinicio Vianello produced by Vistosi in 1957, characterised by metal structures and coloured Murano glass diffusers. Each lot is estimated at €5,000 / 8,000.
