The charm of Imperial China returns to Cambi Auction House with fine porcelain, important carved tables and enigmatic guardians. On Wednesday, April 5, Cambi Casa d'Aste's Milan headquarters will host Fine Chinese Works of Art, the maison's most prestigious auction dedicated to Oriental art, which - after the success of February 2022 when the Oriental Art department headed by Dario Mottola recorded 1,400,000 euros in sales - presents a rich catalog of works in coral, jade, ceramics, wood and bronze. Among the most interesting lots are precious finely decorated furnishings, such as porcelain vases and bowls, large carved wooden tables, very rare figures and magnificent carved plaques from the Qing Dynasty, which settled in the 17th century and remained in power until the 1912 revolution.
