The upcoming Philately auction scheduled for June 5 spans the entire Italian area, offering several valuable pieces of particular depth.

Starting with prephilatelic letters, which are unfranked letters from when stamps did not yet exist. The letters were sealed and transported by relays, on horseback or even on foot and then delivered to the addressee.

We continue with the ancient states, then moving on to the Papal States where there is a special focus in the catalog, with some very special pieces; the Grand Duchy of Tuscany: in the auction, for example, the issues that occurred after Grand Duke Leopold fled and was hosted by the Austrians, leaving the Grand Duchy under the protection of the Savoy. Stamps began to be printed bearing the Savoy shield. Unmissable in the auction, the entire period of the Kingdom of Italy.

There will be special attention in the catalog to airmail, which is always a popular area for customers. In particular, of the Decennial Air Cruise that took place in 1933 departing from Orbetello on July 1. It results in many aerograms, envelopes carried by airplanes, which are very rare and in demand in the market.

In addition, the auction has a special focus towards San Marino mail, with some beautiful traveled envelopes, especially from the early San Marino period.
